The Metro Division 20 Project will improve service for its B Line (Red) and D Line (Purple) through widening of the heavy rail portal south of the U.S. 101 freeway, creation of a new turnback facility, and new tracks/switches within the existing Division 20 rail yard, located within the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles, CA. This will ultimately improve service times at Union Station and throughout the Metro Red/Purple Line System.
