Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor

The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project will serve the Crenshaw Corridor, Inglewood, Westchester and the LAX area with eight stations, a maintenance facility, park-ride lots, traction power substations and the acquisition of rail vehicles and maintenance equipment.

 

The Metro Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project will extend from the existing Metro Exposition Line at Crenshaw and Exposition Bls. The Line will travel 8.5 miles to the Metro Green Line’s Aviation/LAX Station and will serve the cities of Los Angeles, Inglewood, Hawthorne and El Segundo; and portions of unincorporated Los Angeles County.

 

The new rail stations will be Expo/Crenshaw, Crenshaw/Martin Luther King, Crenshaw/Vernon (Leimert Park), Crenshaw/Slauson, Florence/West, Florence/La Brea, Florence/Hindry and Aviation/Century.
